On the night before Christmas in 1905, a sleeping boy's head is full of magic as he strives to keep a play-date with his friend the Princess of Slumberland, and on the way help Santa, and maybe make the world a better place!

Valerie Kilmer

Valerie Kilmer — Little Nemo

Valerie is making her TCT debut with Adventures in Slumberland. Originally from New York, Valerie has been active in the Cleveland theater scene for two years. Recent local productions include Negative Space's Shakesparx (Helena/Katharina), Theater Ninjas' The Excavation: Ninja Days, and Cleveland Public Theatre's These Are the Times (Julia). She has also worked with Kringle's Inventionasium, Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, TrueNorth Cultural Arts, Karamu House, and the Ithaca Youth Bureau. Valerie spent three years in the Ensemble Program at Shaker Heights High School studying movement with guest artist, Wendy Kriss. Valerie now works as a performer, writer, and program developer in the Greater Cleveland Aquarium's Actor Department.

Tim Pringpuankeo

Tim Pringpuankeo — Newsie/Flip/Urchin

Tim has been a part of the children's theater scene since 1998, touring, performing and otherwise hobnobbing throughout Ohio's northeast towns, villages and hamlets. An accomplished musician who performs in two different bands as well as pit orchestras for theaters, Tim has also been a Great Lakes Theater Actor/Teacher for the past ten years. Tim is astounded and honored to be a part of his first Talespinner Children's Theatre production.

Annie Perusek

Annie Perusek — Mother/Princess/Moppet

Annie is delighted to be a part of Adventures in Slumberland in the company of such imaginative and generous artists. A graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University, she holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts and works locally as an actor and teaching artist. Annie was an Actor Teacher for Great Lakes Theater's School Residency Program for two years and performed in the company's 2013 Outreach Tour, Double Heart, both in the Cleveland area and as part of the 2013 New York International Fringe Festival. Some of her favorite past productions include: October in the Chair (June/Troll), FEVER/DREAM (Claire), Lil' Abner (Daisy Mae), The Tempest (Miranda), Into the Woods (Baker's Wife), and The Boys Next Door (Sheila). Annie is excited to be appearing in SEVEN AGES, Great Lakes Theater's 2014 Outreach Tour, this winter.

Lauren Smith

Lauren Smith — Imp/Poor Mother

Lauren is delighted to be back on the TCT stage after performing as Papagena in Magic Flute for last years' inaugural season. In May, Lauren finished a tour performing and leading workshops all over the state of Ohio performing in Cleveland Play House's Classroom Matinee Touring Production of Margie and Mike as the title character. Lauren has over nine years' experience working professionally in the northeast Ohio theater community both as an Actor and Educator. Besides Talespinner Children's Theatre, Cleveland Theater and arts-education companies Lauren has worked with include: Cleveland Play House, Theater Ninjas, Cleveland Public Theatre, Great Lakes Theater, Convergence-Continuum, Dobama, Fourth Wall Productions, The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, Kulture Kids, Young Audiences, and Appel Farm Arts and Music Center in New Jersey.

Christopher Walker

Christopher Walker — Morpheus/Fish/Santa/Mayor

A recent graduate from Cleveland State University, this will be Christopher's professional acting debut. His past performances include Ogun in In The Red & Brown Water, Snug in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Jack in The Death of Bessie Smith, Scar Tissue in Marisol, Fellowship/Ensemble in Everyman, Willie in Master Harold…and the Boys, Centipede in James & The Giant Peach, and Bellomy in The Fantasticks. Chris is very honored to be a part of this company and cast.

Bryan Ritchey

Bryan Ritchey — Candy Kid/Guard/Cripp

Bryan is excited to make his Talespinner debut. He has stage managed two of TCT's previous productions, Magic Flute and The Tinderbox. Bryan is a performer/stage manager/sound designer who graduated from Cleveland State in 2009 and works around the clock to support as much Cleveland theatre as he can. Past performance credits include As You Like It, Sweet Love Adieu, and Titus Andronicus at the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, Our Town at Cleveland Public Theatre, and Two Gentlemen of Verona, The Rock Musical at CSU Summer Stages.
